BrickStats ("we," "us," "our") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
By using BrickStats, you agree to the collection and use of data as described here.
Account data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and the password you choose (stored as a secure hash — we never see your plain-text password).
Profile data: Your chosen @username, display preferences (public/private), and profile information you voluntarily provide.
Activity data: Picks you lock in, parlays you build, challenge entries, quest completions, Bricks balance, and leaderboard rankings.
Payment data: If you purchase Bricks or a Pro subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details. We store the outcome of transactions (amount, timestamp, Stripe transaction reference).
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and general usage patterns. This is used solely to improve the Service.
Chat data: Messages you send to Brickie (our AI chatbot) are processed by Groq to generate responses. Chat history is stored locally in your browser only (localStorage) and is not stored on our servers beyond what is needed to process your current session.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, username, profile) is removed within 30 days. Anonymized transaction records may be retained for financial compliance purposes.
